Tasting Note

"I just fell in love with this wine that seduces you, even if you initially don't want to fall in love with it. All big coffee, chocolate, cola, cherry, tobacco and liquorice, but so wondergfully sexy and seductive. I adore it." Peter's Points 95/100

Producer

Tenuta Ulisse was founded in 2006 and is today, the symbolic mark of the enological renaissance in Abruzzo. The wines from here are a modern expression of the centuries-old tradition of passion and dedication to the land and this estate itself is one of the premier winemaking estates in the region, using the grand potential of Abruzzo's unique terroir and ancient varieties whilst puting a contemporary spin on some indigenous grapes.

The vineyard is now run by brothers, Antonio and Luigi Ulisse, who pour their passion into everything that they do here. There is a great sense of belonging and pride spread throughout to share together the desire to grow and develop the Abruzzo wine region. The team here considers themselves to be one big family here who all share in the same dream and the same values: quality and passion.
