Geraldine Lacourte is from two grape growing families, the Lacourtes on her father's side and the Godbillons on her mothers. They sold their champagne grapes to the big houses, but after the Second World War, they started producing their own Champagnes, Lacourte-Labasse and Godbillon-Marie. After the marriage of her parents, the Lacourte-Godbillon brand was born, making just a few thousand bottles.

Now Geraldine and her husband Richard run the company, and make a range of brilliant wines - and they are a lovely couple as well!
