Champagne Yves Jacques MCM 32 75cl

£34.95 GBP £39.95 GBP

Tasting Note

With reserve wines going back to 2004, this outstanding red grape dominant Champagne has rich red fruit, red apples and brioche coming off the nose followed by a rounded palate with clean acidity and lots more of those richer fruit flavours. A superb bottle of wine.

Producer

In 1932 Gilberte & André Jacques settled in Baye, in the Côte des Blancs. Gilberte takes over the village's cafe while André continues his agricultural activities and decides to plant our first vineyard there. In 1962 Gisele & Yves Jacques continued to expand the estate and invested in the first press, a vat house and a cellar. The first bottles of the Champagne Yves Jacques brand were finished a few months later. In 1982 Valérie & Rémi took over the family business.
