Chateau Briatte


This lovely little Sauternes producer, a stones throw from some of the great names of Bordeaux, is probably best known for being the producer of Fortnum & Mason's house Sauternes. Now we aren't big enough to warrant our own 'house Sauternes', but this is pretty much becoming it, due to the fact that it is an outstanding value sweet wine. 

Third generation Michel Roudes is currently managing the property, that lies just west of Preignac.
