Chateau Haut-Batailley

A relative newcomer on the scene in Bordeaux, Chateau Haut-Batailley was only created in 1942. Located in the southernmost part of Pauillac, the vineyards of Haut-Batailley are in the sweet-spot of Bordeaux; the Gironde River and the Bay of Biscay sit on either side and moderate the temperatures while nearby forests shelter the vines from harsh winds.
