Famille Valery
LANGUEDOC, FRANCE
The Valéry family has been farming in Sauvian, between Béziers and the Mediterranean, since 1956. They practise lutte raisonnée, with no herbicides used in the vineyard. It’s an interesting area, with soils ranging from alluvial along the Orbieu river, to limestone terraces on the upper slopes, and the hot Languedoc weather is tempered by onshore breezes. The Pas d’Histoires range, loosely translating as “hakuna matata” or suchlike, and we all know what that means. A little pair of delightful wines from local varieties that we’re confident you’ll love.
