Glengoyne is the most southerly Highland distillery - a gentle whisky, exceptionally made and a fine, sophisticated malt whisky. Using air dried barley, slow stills, careful barrel selection and gentle maturation, it ensures that the whisky produced is of top notch quality. Established in 1833, this distillery has a keen eye on preserving the environment. All of its power comes from renewable energy, the spent lees from distillation is treated in their own wetlands, they encourage bees by being a part of Plan Bee and are a part of the Wildfowl and Wetlands trust.
