St Andrews Wine Company owner Peter Wood and his friend and brewer Simon Tardivel had a problem with gin. So many artisan gins are fantastic when you try them neat, but when they are diluted with tonic, you lose so many of the subtleties, so why not just use a mass produced gin.

Morris Gin Company's first release, the 'St Andrews Gin' is made by extracting a lot of the natural flavours from the botanicals, and is a big, intense juniper led gin. Then, when diluted, you release some of the natural sweetness and spice from the gin.
