Having met at the Charles Stuart University Sam Middleton, Kaspar Hermann and Will Byron decided (after one too many beers) to launch into the world of winemaking together. Having conceived a name constructed from their surnames and a philosophy to produce simple wines from healthy grapes they set about their task.
“We’re just really good mates and we wanted to make wine together,” says Byron. “It’s a bit like being in a band. We could all go off and release our own solo albums but we thought that with the three of us coming together, it just ticks all the boxes.”
