Guy Breton Morgon 2021 75cl

£29.50

Tasting Note

"The terroir here makes for a fresher, finer style, with a gouleyant acidity. In the glass, the wine is of a bright, pale purple. The nose gives notes of ripe cranberry, red gooseberry, hints of red cherry, stewed strawberry and fresh violets. On the palate the tannins are soft. The fruit is concentrated. Riper notes of raspberry and cassis, mix ethereally with mint, liquorice and earthier, spicy notes."

Producer

Guy Breton's estate is only 3 hectares, most of which is around Morgon. With vine age between 8 and 80 years old, it is the older ones that go into the Vieilles Vignes cuvee. One of the pioneers of 'natural wine' we just had to take these wines on.
