Domaine Pouderoux specializes in the oxidated, fortified wine known as Maury; the Pouderoux family has been making this wine since 1826. The current winemaker, Robert Pouderoux, focuses on respecting the land and is certified organic. For fans of Port or Banyuls, Maury is a must-try; it has a touch of sweetness with a nose that explodes with dark cherries and cassis followed by an intense palate of dark chocolate, baked fruits and leather. These wines are intense and beautiful.
