Sandeman's Port

Marked by the iconic Don, Sandeman's is truly a global brand; roughly 21 bottles are sold around the world every minute. While such a widespread reputation is certainly deserved, Sandeman's had fallen onto hard times in 70's and 80's as a result of commercialisation. Thankfully, George Sandeman fought for a resurgence of quality in the 90's. The 1997 Vau Vintage Port marked the return of Sandeman's to excellence. What's especially encouraging is the newly released vintages keep getting better and better as the years go on.
