Located in a golden zone -- the Alps block the wind from the North and the Adriatic moderates the temperatures -- the Specogna vineyards understandably produce tremendous wines. Many of the vines within the 20 hectares of Specogna property are 40 years old and have root systems that can access underground water supplies and a variety of minerals. These factors create the complexity and structure that make these wines so delicious.
