Dare we say this is a bit like Meursault?! Well it isn't there yet but Saint Romain is one of the hidden gems of Burgundy and with a lovely oak profile and soft fruit, this is an absolute steal.

Producer

Seventh generation Romain Taupenot runs this family estate with his sister Virginie in the Cote de Nuits. He built up a successful career in finance, before coming home and taking over the domaine in 1998.
