What Are Cookies?

The internet without cookies is like wine without grapes.  You can get by without them, but then you end up with some horrifically sweet wine made out of oak leaves that you have bought from a man with a beard from the back of a knackered old Toyota pick up truck!
A cookie is a small file that is downloaded onto your computer when you visit a website.  It allows us to recognise and tailor our site to you and it won’t harm your computer.  You can find details of the cookies we use at the bottom of this page.
