"Beautiful reddish-purple color. The aromas are a mix of freshly crushed black cherries and subtle coffee and vanilla notes, just enough to frame the exuberant fruit. On the palate, the flavours of cherries and spice are obvious, and the jammy fruit quality just keeps coming on, with hints of spice and sandalwood lurking in the background."
Owner and head winemaker, Susana is a truly exceptional talent - a global ambassador for Argentine wine, a woman whose expertise is the very embodiment of art and science seamlessly combined.
Founded in 1999, the winery is located on the famous Cochabamba road in Agrelo, with neighbours whose names read like a roll call of the true greats of Mendoza. Part of Susana's success is her acute commercial acumen, another part is her inimitable skill at blending parcels from diverse terroirs in order to create a singularly harmonious wine that pours with heaps of personality. She is also increasingly known for single vineyard wines that speak volumes of their terroir, and her role as the 'Queen of Torrontes' remains undisputed in our view.
