Les Piliers de Maison Blanche 2018 75cl

Tasting Note

Like a well-maintained vintage car, this simply oozes class and elegance. The nose is almost coquettish, with poached plums with star anise and orange peel, a hint of wood smoke, gravel and graphite, leading into a palate with more damson fruit, a little tobacco and scents of old leather bound books and "a point" tannins. Well-structured and with majestic length and finish. So smart and so appealling.

Maison Blanche are located on one of the most picturesque parts of the Libournais on Bordeaux's right bank, Montagne Saint-Emilion. They have been producing biodynamically since 2013 and produce some of the most delicious and classical low-intervention, low-sulphur Bordeaux wines.
