Producer

The Martinez Winery is one of the oldest that produces Marsala, and has remained faithful to the production of this product since 1866. It is located on the extreme tip of Western Sicily, and it takes its name from its founding family.

Six generations of the Martinez family have worked to combine innovation and tradition and to this day continue to maintain the high quality and name of their products with great pride.

The journey first began thanks to the initiative of the founder, Carlo Martinez, a young astute and versatile man from Palermo. He has the intention of fully enjoying his life and its most authentic pleasures, living every day with vibracy, constantly searching for new frontiers. He eventually found this same vibracy in Marsala and together with his borther Francesco, he started began his reality that has now become historic in the area and his family. 

The company continues to pay attention and remain sensitive towards consumers and the environment, and so it has been recognised according to the latest European regulations: the certification of the quality management system, the environmental management system and the traceability system.

The family intends to follow a path that contains the perfect combination of continuity and innovation, continuing this into the future.
